                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 927 AND
                   929 EAST MAIN STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST
                   LINE OF EAST MAIN STREET AT FAGAN STREET, FROM
                   R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE
                   COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 927 and 929 East Main
                Street, being on the northeast line of East Main
                Street at Fagan Street.  Lot 375 and the southwest
                100.5 feet of lot 376, Orange Grove Addition, as
                shown by plat of record in plat book 3, page 39,
                ROHC; being the property described in deed book
                4665, page 161, ROHC.   Tax Map No. 146P-F-24 and
                25.
               
               
         from  R-3 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
